The T-Rex project showcases 2 different methods of beating the familiar Chrome offline Easter-egg Dino Game.
Method 1:
An AI agent using Deep Q-Learning with RL (Reinforcement Learning) learns to play the Dino game.
Note: Approximately 700k steps of training are required to start seeing appropriate results.
Method 2:
Using screenshots to analyze the game state with pre-defined observation regions to make game moves.
Note: Good results on the first region tuning, but a few adjustments are required after a few runs to get the best regions and achieve the best results.
